life is short - why waste it?

I always have this in my mind.
We have read and heard it maybe a million times already and we know its true.
I may have use that line a couple of times especially when I have drastic decisions made or some crazy deeds :P
And now, is also a perfect time to use it again... :D

•     Life is short, why waste it on people who do not matter to you and seems like you don't matter to them?
•     Life is short, why spend your time on situations that gives you misery and do nothing good to you?
•     Life is short, why keep on dealing with people you don't trust?
•     Life is short, why endure the pain and humiliation?
•     Life is short, why be scared of taking risks? You'll never know unless you try right?
•     Life is short... this could go on and on and on but I bet you know what I mean!

Be strong... Have faith... Believe...

my skyflakes made her smile...

Last Friday and yesterday were two of the worst days in my career... Nah, don't ask me why because I don't even know where to begin and besides I'm really trying to move on...


So what's my story here?


Ok, I was really down these past few days that I can't even manage to smile. I looked terrible as if the whole world told me that I cannot travel anymore... When I was at the jeepney on my way home, a young girl climbed in and asked for some money to all the passengers (if you live around Laguna, you probably have experienced this also). This wasn't the first I have encountered this but almost everytime that a kid ask for some change to buy food, I always give my baon which is usually a biscuit..


When she gave me her white envelope so I could put coins there, I immediately opened my bag, got my crackers and put in inside. I gave it to her not expecting anything. Besides, very few kids have ever thanked me before but this time - it's different...


She removed the crackers from the envelope and gave me one of the sweetest and genuine shy smile I have ever seen and said 'salamat'...  Four days of sulking and frowning, I cannot help but to smile back at her... It felt weird smiling again but knowing that you made someone happy is one of the greatest experienced one can have...


And you know what those crackers are, Skyflakes...

So this is the first one...

I finally decided to make an account here... Actually I have one in other site but it's slow and took most of the my time just opening my page... I chose this because I have read a lot of articles and stories from blogspot and they are all pretty interesting... So I thought 'baka maging interesting din ang magagawa ko...' haha!
